You ain’t wrong at all. Postmodernity is interesting in general because although it’s (in theory) Egalitarian … it’s fractured in practice (by design!): we don’t know our neighbors, barely speak to our coworkers, don’t have an agreed-upon narrative, all buried in our phones. It makes us lonely and we all feel like we don’t quite fit. Explains the amplification and intensification of systemic inequities that cause tumult.
