Here I am. Just now. Austin, Texas. 7:30 p.m., local time. And this is my final of 399 evenings spent in quarantine.

On the social medias, I started nightly checkpoint entries as a way of marking time in a world where time did not behave the way it used to. Of documenting our — but mostly my — days spent in the darkness…
