Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It’s interesting, really, to begin to understand yourself, as you get older and if you choose to. I’ve had to level up a few times. I had to understand my brain, understand what parts worked and what didn’t, understand what causes what to do what, figure out how to fix what was fixable, see what happens with a little effort, be at peace with the results, and allow myself to change and also be okay with new things breaking. That’s not, like, an iron clad process or anything, it’s just … a lot of going inward. That I document the process is something I do, more than anything, to hold myself accountable and give me a reference for when I need to remember things I would otherwise forget when the darkness closes in.
