I'd be out of pocket to offer, or even form, an opinion on this (I'm neither Black nor Jewish, and my swim lane remains six pools down and probably spiked with pumpkin spice bath salts).
Yet you scraped couple of points that cut close to a four year-old Ta-Nehisi Coates essay I haven't seen anyone overtly reference yet, and I'm admittedly surprised it hasn't come up since.
You've probably read it (or maybe not!), yet I still think it needs some air time. It's not *quite* Baldwin's "N---os Are Anti-Semetic Because They're Anti-White" but it feels like it's the both the close second-most relevant and second-most insightful / inciteful thought-bubble re: Kanye.

All THAT said, I really appreciated this read. And you're a helluva writer. Thank you. 🙂
